Refund & Cancellation

1. Service-Based Engagements

As Shuma provides customized IT consulting and software development services, cancellations and refunds are generally not applicable once a project has commenced.

Any cancellation requests must be made in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

2. Project Cancellation by Client

If a client chooses to cancel a project before work has begun, a full refund of any advance payment may be issued.

If cancellation occurs after project commencement, refunds (if any) will be adjusted based on the amount of work completed, resources allocated, and expenses incurred.

3. Project Cancellation by Shuma

In rare circumstances where Shuma must cancel a project (e.g., unforeseen technical or operational issues), clients will receive a full refund of any payments made for uncompleted work.

4. Refundable Services

Payments for services such as consultation fees, discovery workshops, UI/UX prototypes, strategy documents, and SEO campaigns are refundable in case customer is unsatisfied based on request.

Subscription-based services (like support and maintenance contracts) are also refundable after the subscription period has started in case the user is unsatisfied.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.

Shuma is not responsible for any delays caused by the client’s bank, payment gateway, or third-party provider.
